A Wedding in Dayton

Brandy and Francisco got married this past Saturday in Dayton and I was lucky enough to be the photographer. The cool thing about these guys is that photography is really important to them so they were totally willing to do a bunch of cool photos in the church and all over Dayton. The reception was over at 5 and then we stayed out until 8:30 to get the sunset with the Dayton skyline in the background. This was one of the coolest weddings I've ever done!

Ah, Spring

(Perhaps) the last gasp of cold has left Dayton and spring is here at last. Of course, with it comes rain. And with rain comes cloudy skies; but who says it needs to be sunny to take cool photos in the garden? Who says flowers have to be completely in focus to jump off the page? Not me! I try to look at the world just a little bit differently, from the ground up, crawling in flower beds and catching the breeze. And the result can be pretty unique! Enjoy.

A day in the life with Baby Kiedis

This was a "lifestyle" session with four week old baby Kiedis and mom (Tabs) and dad (Kyle).
The point of this kind of session is to tell a story with unposed pictures - a story about the day to day life with baby: the good (mommy time) the not so good (laundry still needs to get folded) and the everything in-between. Then, years later, mom and dad can look back and remember the real moments.
