Sunrise, Moonrise



And so the sun rises and sets on one of my last days in the mountains of NC. Here is sunrise over the mountains off the Blue Ridge Parkway, walking through downtown Boone, NC, then a drive along Grandfather Mountain into Linville falls (more on that next), on a perfect crisp sunny blue sky afternoon.

Beautiful as always, Jackie! Linville Falls - man, that's some hike down to the falls from the parking area, huh? Especially if you've got a lot of equipment with you. I got a couple sunset shots recently as well, they're on my Flickr stream. Anyway, congrats, and I'm sorry your trip is nearing the end - I hope you've had a wonderful time!

I will miss all these great photos when your trip comes to an end. But, I am also looking forward to Cameron's next portrait appointment when you get back. So it does have a bright side.
